I’m pretty sure I watched as one of my neighbours’ car was stolen Sunday night.
It was 20 minutes past midnight and I was in bed. My room is facing the parking lot and my car. I’m all paranoid that my car will get vandalised or my place will get broken into again so whenever I hear a noise out front I look out my window. I heard what sounded like hammering on metal. I looked out and there was a guy sitting in my neighbour’s truck and it looked like he was hammering something at the side of the steering wheel. I’m betting he was driving a screwdriver in the keyhole. I wanted to make my camera flash to scare him off but before I could unzip the case the truck started. The wipers went off indicating the person wasn’t comfortable with the controls.
He took off, taking a round about way out of the lot and then a black tinted car with all lights off pulled out of a parking space just up from him and followed him. Then they when down the main street in the opposite direction.
He sort of looked like the guy who owned it (skinny guy, white hat) so I wasn\u2019t really concerned. The truck hasn’t been back since that night. I’m pretty sure it was stolen.
