Day 1 with the new dog<\/U><\/B>

Abby was brought home. She was a little shy but we played in the yard and got along. She’s already mostly potty trained and we take her out every hour or so to relieve herself.
She doesn’t like her crate at all – she doesn’t want to go in. If we put her in she whines.
We know if we let her out when she cries she knows she’ll get what she wants so we don’t give in.The night wasn’t bad. We put her in her crate by our bed, she cried like hell but silenced after a few minutes. We let her out after 4 hours.
