{"id":573,"date":"2013-04-02T03:26:01","date_gmt":"2013-04-02T03:26:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scoff.ca\/?p=573"},"modified":"2020-04-25T21:43:46","modified_gmt":"2020-04-26T01:43:46","slug":"infill-plane-testing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.scoff.ca\/?p=573","title":{"rendered":"Infill Plane Testing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was given the chance to test out an infill plane made by <a href=\"http:\/\/infillplanemaker.blogspot.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wayne Jepson<\/a>, Caledon, On.<br \/>\nThis is a really beautiful plane. Some of the shavings in the picture are on the heavy side for a smoother but I backed it off a little in the end. I tested it next to my Veritas Bevel-up smoother and the results were very similar in terms of shaving shape, thickness, consistency and board finish. The Veritas having a 2 1\/4&#8243; blade is much harder to push a full width shaving which makes this a different experience.
