Coffee cup circle

I decided to put on a freshly washed black T-shirt today that I noticed had a bit of lint on it. An hour after I was wearing it I noticed a white mark on it so started flaking it off thinking it was dried laundry soap.

Upon closer examination and more scratching with my fingernail, the mark turned into a perfectly shaped white circle. I felt as though I was uncovering a treasure to unearth buried Indian handicrafts.

Using a bit of water and a nearby jacket I diligently continued rubbing the circle off. Soon, I began to smell the scent of old coffee around me. You know the kind…it’s on your car seat and in your cup holder.

I smelled the ring on my shirt and low and behold – I have a stinky ring on my shirt.
Who the hell would put a leaky cup of coffee cup on someone’s newly washed shirt? It was down in the laundry room on the drying rack. I don’t see how that could have been possible.

Here’s what I’m thinking: Someone went down to do laundry with a coffee in their hand. They were being stupid by doing too many things at once and spilled the thing. They looked around for a place to put it down and since there was only my white deep freezer, they needed a rag or coaster. The only thing near was my rack of clothes. They took the darkest shirt so the coffee wouldn’t show up and used my shirt as a frickin’ coaster. They did their business, put my shirt back and left.

I’m making a new peeve. “People who use other people’s black t-shirts as coffee cup coasters.”
