New dog – day 3

Day 3 with the new dog

Wow, what a difference in behavior. She slept without a peep last night in her crate beside the bed sleeping. I had to wake her up at 2am for a bathroom break. She was really dopey, it took a few minutes for her to wake up.

Today we got up at 6:30am, had breakfast and then played for a bit. At 10am we went down for a nap. Normally a crate break in the daytime would make her cry and cry but she was out like a light. It’s funny when dogs dream. They snort, move their paws and seems like they’re trying to walk upside down.

Let’s hope this keeps up. She’s also learning really fast. She can go up and down the patio stairs by herself.
