McDonald’s rant

I go to McDonald’s today and I noticed that the deal of the day order is all screwed up. Instead of getting a Big Xtra on Monday they’re giving away a double cheeseburger.

The guy tells me it’s the double cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. I take it to my table and find out it’s not the same double cheeseburger they used to give out. This didn’t have mustard, ketchup, or pickle – it had that mayo junk instead. It was basically a big mac without that center bun piece and no pickle or Mac sauce. Why’d they change the ketchup? It’s not even a burger anymore, it’s a double cheese sandwich.

It was a sad say when a lot of fast food burger places made the transition from selling burgers to sandwiches. I thought ‘Oh-oh, this isn’t going to be good for anybody.’

They don’t even give you ketchup packages when you get take out there anymore – you have to ask for it. What are you supposed to eat with your fries, plain with salt topping?
