Here’s our peanut after 12 weeks. Can you make out the arms?
I spent 7 hours Sunday doing a mortise jig for a front entrance/shoe holder bench I’m working on. I had to make about 16 mortise holes for mortise and tenon joinery and I didn’t feel like banging them with dull chisels. It’s crude but I did them in about 10 minutes.
You can see some of the rails I did to make the frame with the mortises routed out on the table behind the jig.
Here’s the finished fence, now I just have to clean up the yard from the wreckage.
I don’t think I’ve mentioned we got a new dog, Jersey the Great Dane.
We started building the fence today. Here’s me using the auger to drill the post holes.
I’ve started to make this entrance bench/shoe storage thing. It’ll look sort of like this only less antique looking and darker brown.

It’s been raining the hardest I’ve seen it in years this last couple days, espiecially last night. Now I leave for camping for the weekend. :/
We’re probably going to build a wooden fence soon before the winter hits which will be a lot better for the dogs. It’ll be this style:
Look what my wife bought me for my birthday !!!
